The Richard Osman Memorial Fund was established in 2018 in memory of our friend, colleague and passionate geologist. The scholarship is available to students pursuing a Masters in mining and geology at the University of Exeter, Camborne School of Mines. The grant provides full financial aid to two outstanding students each year, including offering field experience at Sukari.

The Michael Kriewaldt Scholarship was established in 2018 by Centamin’s founder and geologist, Sami El-Raghy. The scholarship is available to geology students wishing to pursue a Masters or Doctorate in mining and mineral resources at the University of Alexandria Faculty of Science in Egypt. The grant provides enrolment to outstanding students in the postgraduate research programme.
